Congratulations to our Sinton Pirate STATE CHAMPION POWERLIFTER, Jerek Sanchez!!! Jerek is the 148 weight class 4A D.II THSPA STATE CHAMPION!!!!!

Squat - 560 lbs

Bench - 460 lbs

Deadlift - 580 lbs

Total - 1600 lbs

Best Light Weight Bench

Best Light Weight Deadlift

Best Overall Light Weight Lifter

 Set the new BENCH STATE record in the 148lb weight class with a 460 bench. Previous record was 360. 

 Set the new TOTAL STATE record in the 148lb weight class with a 1600 total. Previous record was 1510.  

Congratulations to our Sinton Pirate Nate Martinez on his performance at the THSPA State Meet this weekend!!! He ended up with his personal best bench with 465 and a 645 squat. He had a great season and achieved his goal of qualifying for STATE!!!
