To say that Academic Decathlon is a challenge is an understatement. The students spend countless hours learning, studying, and practicing material that is often new to them because many of the students join as underclassmen who have yet to take classes such as Economics. However, the Academic Decathletes are undeterred and the transformation in life-changing knowledge and confidence unfolds with each quiz and Meet. The team, coached by Mr. Paul Brown, Mrs. Cheyenne Garcia, and Mrs. Marty Garza, looks forward to representing Sinton ISD at the State Meet in Frisco, Texas, on February 25-27, 2022.
